Post subject: Why hadiths ?
Salam,

I have been reading the other thread about bukhari and I agree to most said by Ahmed. However that thread concerns scholars more than general public who have little or no knowledge about the facts.

Why do people ignore quran and opt for hadiths? To blame satan or any human for misguiding the people isnt all. There must be more reasons for this ignorance from the public. One of the simple reason I see, Quran isnt an easy book to understand specially for non-arabic speakers, reading from sura one then in sura two one starts to loose sense of the subject and gets confused. This is where hadiths and preachers take control. Its hardly been 20years that we now have quran browsers, internet and whole lot information which made it little easy to understand. But I guess 99% of this info around us is regarding any particular subject, and again the quranic message is being ignored. They teach us how to recite, they teach us subjects addressed in quran but none tells public how to understand, how to read with understanding and how to find subjects. Finally in my opinion unless the public learns to understand, we all people are bound to be misguided.

have your say!

Salam bro

I agree with you that most of the public are not well informed about Islam including most Muslims, and sure that is due to Satan effect, no blame in here, it is a fact, however if there will be any blame, it has to be on the Muslims and kafirs themselves because they listened to Satan invitation and sure Satan made the wrong look good to them so they accepted his invitation.

Now for the hadith, as you said there are many verses in the Quran that we need the sirah (history) about the prophet to understand those verses, but as you can see that the sirah must be linked to a Quran verse(s) somehow, i.e. the sirah must be qualified by the Quran, and in that case we are still following the Quran alone because what we learnt from the sirah must be linked to the Quran, now on top of that we need to add the common sense qualification because the sirah is nothing but conjectures that will be hard for us to confirm beyond an atom weight of doubt, it is almsot impossible for us to know that what we read or heard about the prophet was indeed what happned.

For my Bukhari thread, it is actually aimed at the Mushriks in Al Azhar, especially Dr Abdul Muhddi Abdul Qader, I do believe that one day I will cross paths with him and I can't wait till it happens, I'm already trying to contact a well known egyptian who have his own TV show to put me against him head to head inshaallah but that is a huge plan that I'm still working on to fine tune and to get more contacts within the world of sunnah.

Indeed the public will have hardly anything to oppose, nothing is opposed so far, the ones who will dare to oppose are the clear cut Mushriks in Al Azhar and their likes because putting the hadith back to where it belongs means they have lost their career that they worked hard on it for years and years, it is going to be tough mate for us and them but as our strong voice is heard every day we will gain strength against them and inshaallah we will claim our great religion back
