Post subject: WHO ARE THE BELIEVERS AND UNBELIEVERS!
Salam,

I was reading the 'women' thread and I felt raising this questions. Who are the believers and who are unbelievers, are they recognized by titles muslims, jews, etc etc.... or how should they be catogorised ??

This is how I understand it;
Believer = Everyone who believes in God, the Judgement Day and all the prophets from Adam to Muhammed.

Hello Windsor,
It cant be that simple. Even today there live wild people who have not heard about God, JD prophets in present terms. What about those doesnot want to believe the God because all what comes from their sources churches/mosques is corrupt, yet some of them believe in Creator. The more I think, the more it gets confusing.

A Muslim is one who is a Muslim.... by name or by faith

A Mumin (which is a TRUE Muslim) is one who follows Islam and actively practices it.

A Mumin is superior to a Muslim. The word Muslim was used in the Quran several times but Mumin was used countless times.

So a Muslim could be anyone who claims to believe in Allah but he drinks and fornicates heavily. But a Mumin is one who believes in Allah AND practices the religion actively

I believe you got it the other way around

Muslim can never be a Muslim by name, it has to be by actions

Muslims is the higest level of believe

i.e. not every Mumin is a Muslim

but every Muslim must be a Mumin

I can elaborate if you wish

I was about to say the same what AB just said. But my question is about believers and non-believers

For example in 7.38
Verse 7:38, is telling us the fact about the nations who are unjust entering hell one after another: He will say: Enter into fire among the nations that have passed away before you from among jinn and men;, now when every nation enters hell, it blames the nation before it as I explained earlier: whenever a nation shall enter, it shall curse its sister, the word �?????�????�???�??�?�¢??sister�?????�????�???�??�?�¢?? here is a metaphor to imply another nations that is following what another nations followed, now when the last nation enters hell, they will also blame the foremost nation who entered hell, this is because they think the flaw was inherited from them all along: until when they have all come up with one another into it; the last of them shall say with regard to the foremost of them: Our Lord! these led us astray therefore give them a double chastisement of the fire., they are just freaking out, however they are right that they inherited the flaw from the previous nations, however that is not an excuse because by them doing so they earned double the punishment, the same goes for the nations before them they also earned double the punishment, let me explain further:

Which nations could it be, will it be, pakistan got charile hell, usa got alpha hell OR it could be what Im thinking nations of murdrere, rapist, hypocrits ? Similarly it is hard to accept that all muslim are believers or all christians are nonbeliever.

your question is very general regarding the unbelievers and the believers, I believe believers are those who received a message from God and they believed it then obeyed it, there are those among them who claim to believe it but they don't obey it which must reneders them as those who refused to believe it, i.e. unbelievers, how can you claim to believe in something from God while not obeying it?

so yes it may coover the murderers, rapists, etc etc, this is because they did what Allah told them not to do

I'm not sure what you mean by Islamic, if you mean Not Muslims then I agree totally with you, this is because I don't consider them Muslims at all and that is according to the Quran btw

see about 4 years ago I discovered a major flaw in the majority of non arabic speaking Muslims understanding to Islam, many (even Quran knowlegables as they claim), they think that a Mumin (believer) is higher than (Muslim) submitter, many in the non arabic speaking so called Muslim countries were raised to believe such lie, even if you try to convince them that they are wrong by providing hundreds of Quran verses that clearly show that Muslim (Submitter) is the top most level that a Mumin (Believer) can reach, hence the name of the religion Islam, they adamantly reject your eviidences and I can assure 100% that reaching that level of fully submitting to Allah AFTER believing in Him is the hardest to do

To believe is very easy but to submit, that is the hardest thing and only when you reach that level you can be called a Muslim, prior to that you are only a Mumin (believer)

so all those confused self claimed Muslims are not really Muslims nor they have ever been, same with all those so called Ex Muslims, they have never been Muslims, all of them are only believers or were believers

Now think of those confused believers who think that they are already Muslims, because they think that the belief (Iman) is higher than the submission (Islam), and because they believed then they think that they are Muslims and they don't need to work any more on their belief, they think that they are at the top most level and I can assure you 100% that they are wrong

so I reject calling them Islamic because they have noting to do with islam, however I will accept calling them Confused Believers
