Al-Teyn (The Fig)

Translation

Verses 1-8

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ (1)

By the fig and the olive.
[Al Quran ; 95:1]

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ (2)

And (by) mount Tur.
[Al Quran ; 95:2]

وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ (3)

And (by) this secure city.
[Al Quran ; 95:3]

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ (4)

We have certainly created the human in the best of stature.
[Al Quran ; 95:4]

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ (5)

Then We returned him to the lowest of the low.
[Al Quran ; 95:5]

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ (6)

Except those who have believed and done good deeds, as for them will be a reward never cut off.
[Al Quran ; 95:6]

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ (7)

So what makes you deny the recompense?
[Al Quran ; 95:7]

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ (8)

Is not Allah the wisest of judges?
[Al Quran ; 95:8]
