23.41 - So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as wreckage. So away with the unjust people. 23.42 - Then We established after them other generations. 23.43 - No nation will precede their time, nor will they postpone (it). 23.44 - Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another, and We made them stories. So away with a people who do not believe. 23.45 - Then We sent Musa and his brother Harun with Our signs and an obvious authority. 23.46 - To Firon and his chiefs, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people. 23.47 - And they said: Will we believe in two humans like us while their people are to us worshippers? 23.48 - So they denied them and became of those who were destroyed. 23.49 - And We have certainly given Musa the book that perhaps they would be guided. 23.50 - And We made the son of Mariam and his mother a sign and sheltered them on a high ground which has security and a spring.
