29.21 - He castigates whom He wills and grants mercy to whom He wills; and to Him you will be returned. 29.22 - And you will not cause failure in the earth or in the heaven, and you will not have other than Allah any guardian or any helper. 29.23 - And those who have disbelieved in the signs of Allah and His meeting, it is them who have despaired of My mercy, and it is them for whom there will be a painful torture. 29.24 - And the answer of his people was not except that they said: Kill him or burn him. So Allah saved him from the fire; indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe. 29.25 - And he (Ibrahim) said: You have only taken, other than Allah, idols as affection between you in the life of this world. Then on the day of resurrection some of you will deny others, and some of you will curse others, and your refuge will be the fire, and you will have not any helpers. 29.26 - And Lut believed in him and said: I will emigrate to my Lord; indeed, He is the Mighty, the Wise. 29.27 - And We gave him Ishaq and Yaqoub and made in his descendants prophethood and the book. And We gave him his reward in this world; and indeed, in the hereafter, he will be among the pious. 29.28 - And Lut when he said to his people: Indeed, you commit indecency; no one has preceded you in it from the worlds. 29.29 - Indeed, you approach men and hold up the road and commit in your club evil. And the answer of his people was not except that they said: Bring us the torture of Allah, if you should be of the truthful. 29.30 - He (Lut) said: My Lord! Help me over the people who are mischief makers.
