29.31 - And when Our messengers came to Ibrahim with the good tidings, they said: Indeed, we are destroying the people of this village; indeed, its people have been unjust. 29.32 - He (Ibrahim) said: Lut is in it. They said: We are more knowing of who is in it. We will surely save him and his family, except his wife, she is to be from those who remain behind. 29.33 - And when Our messengers came to Lut, he was distressed by them, and he felt by them discomfort. So they said: Fear not, nor grieve; indeed, we will save you and your family, except your wife, she is to be of those who remain behind. 29.34 - Indeed, we will bring down upon the people of this village a plague from the sky because they have been disobedient. 29.35 - And We have certainly left of it a clear sign for a people who understand. 29.36 - And to Madyan, (We sent) their brother Shauib, and he said: O my people! Worship Allah and seek the last day and do not rebel in the land making mischief. 29.37 - And they denied him, so the blast seized them, and they became in their homes corpses. 29.38 - And Aad and Thamud, and it has become clear to you from their (ruined) homes. And the devil decorated for them their deeds, so he hindered them from the way (of Allah), and they used to see. 29.39 - And Qarun and Firon and Haman. And Musa had certainly came to them with the evidences, but they were arrogant in the land and were not the first. 29.40 - And each We seized for his sin; and of them were those upon whom We sent a storm, and of them were those who were seized by the shriek, and of them were those who were swallowed by the earth, and of them were those whom We drowned. And Allah was not to do them injustice, but they used to do injustice to themselves.
