3.11 - Liars were the people of Firon and those before them; they denied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in punishment. 3.12 - Say to those who have disbelieved: You will be defeated and gathered together to hell, and miserable is the resting place. 3.13 - Certainly there was for you a sign in the two parties who met (in a war); one party was fighting in the way of Allah, and the other of disbelievers. They (the unbelievers) saw them (the believers) as double (in number) as themselves with their eyes; and Allah supports with His victory whoever He wills. Indeed, in that is a lesson for those who possess visions. 3.14 - Decorated for the people is the love of that which they desire of women and sons, and hoarded treasures of gold and silver, and well bred horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of the life of this world, and Allah has with Him the best return. 3.15 - Say: Will I inform you about what is better than that? For those who fear will be gardens with their Lord beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; and purified spouses and pleasure from Allah. And Allah is Seeing of all servants. 3.16 - Those who say: Our Lord! Indeed, we have believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the torture of the fire. 3.17 - The patient, and the truthful, and the obedient, and those who spend, and those who seek forgiveness before dawn. 3.18 - Allah testifies that there is no god except Him, and the angels and those who possess knowledge, (that He is) maintaining His creation in justice. There is no god except Him, the Mighty, the Wise. 3.19 - Indeed, the religion with Allah is Islam. And those who were given the book did not disagree except after knowledge had come to them, out of animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the signs of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in reckoning. 3.20 - And if they argue with you, say: I have submitted my face to Allah and those who followed me. And say to those who were given the book and (to) the unlearned: Do you submit? And if they submit, then indeed, they are guided; and if they turn back, then upon you is only the notification. And Allah is Seeing of all servants.
