41.11 - Moreover, He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth: Come both, willingly or compelled. They both said: We have come willingly. 41.12 - And He decreed them seven skies in two days and revealed in every sky its command. And We have decorated the lowest sky with lamps and guarding (system); that is the determination of the Mighty, the Knowing. 41.13 - But if they turn away, then say: I have warned you of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt of Aad and Thamud. 41.14 - When the messengers came to them before them and after them, (saying), do not worship except Allah. They said: If our Lord had willed, He would have sent down angels, so we are, in that with which you are sent, unbelievers. 41.15 - As for Aad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: Who is mightier than us in strength? Did they not see that Allah Who created them is mightier than them in strength? And they were, concerning Our signs, rejecters. 41.16 - So We sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the torture of humiliation in the life of this world; and surely the torture of the hereafter is more humiliating, and they will not be helped. 41.17 - And as for Thamud, We guided them but they chose blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of the humiliating torture seized them for what they used to earn. 41.18 - And We saved those who have believed and used to fear Me. 41.19 - And the day the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the fire, then they will be distributed. 41.20 - Until when they come to it, their ears and their eyes and their skins would testify against them of what they used to do.
