46.11 - And those who have disbelieved say to those who have believed: If it had been good, they would not have preceded us to it. And when they are not guided by it, they will say: It is an ancient falsehood. 46.12 - And before it was the book of Musa to lead and as a mercy; and this is a book verifying (it) in an Arabic tongue to warn those who do injustice and as good tidings for the doers of good. 46.13 - Indeed, those who have said: Our Lord is Allah, and then straighten up, no fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve. 46.14 - It is them who are the companions of the garden, abiding therein as a reward for what they used to do. 46.15 - And We have enjoined upon the human, to his parents, the doing of good. His mother carried him in hardship and delivered him in hardship; and his gestation and his weaning is thirty months; until when he reaches his maturity and reaches forty years, he says: My Lord! Enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do good which pleases You and amend for me my offspring; indeed, I have repented to You; and indeed, I am of the submitters. 46.16 - It is them from whom We accept the best of what they have done and overlook their evil deeds; (they are) among the companions of the garden, the promise of truth which they had been promised. 46.17 - And (as for) the one who says to his parents: Fie upon you! Do you threaten me that I will be brought forth while generations have already passed on before me? And they call for the help of Allah (saying): Woe to you! Believe; indeed, the promise of Allah is true. But he says: This is not except the legends of the former (people). 46.18 - It is them upon whom the saying has become justified; among nations that have already passed on before them from among the jinn and mankind; indeed, they were losers. 46.19 - And for all there will be degrees for what they have done, and so that He fully pays them their deeds, and they will not be wronged. 46.20 - And the day those who have disbelieved will be exposed to the fire (it will be said to them): You exhausted your good things in your life of this world and enjoyed them, so today you will be rewarded with the punishment of humiliation because you used to be arrogant in the land and because you used to be disobedient.
