7.61 - He (Nuh) said: O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds. 7.62 - I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advice you; and I know from Allah what you do not know. 7.63 - Or do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you to warn you, and that you may fear and that you may be granted mercy? 7.64 - But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship; and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were blind people. 7.65 - And to Aad, (We sent) their brother Hud, he (Hud) said: O my people! Worship Allah, you have no god other than Him; so will you not fear ? 7.66 - The chiefs who have disbelieved from among his people said: Indeed, we see you in foolishness; and indeed, we think that you are of the liars. 7.67 - He (Hud) said: O my people! There is no foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds. 7.68 - I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a faithful adviser. 7.69 - Or do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you to warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of Nuh and increased you in stature extensively. So remember the favours of Allah that you might succeed. 7.70 - They said: Have you come to us so that we worship Allah alone and leave what our fathers used to worship? So bring to us what you promise us, if you should be of the truthful.
