8.61 - And if they incline to peace, then incline to it and rely upon Allah; indeed, it is He Who is the Hearing, the Knowing.

8.62 - And if they want to deceive you, then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He Who supported you with His victory and with the believers.

8.63 - And brought their hearts together; if you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah united them. Indeed, He is Mighty, Wise.

8.64 - O Prophet! Sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you from among the believers.

8.65 - O Prophet! Urge the believers to fight. If there are among you twenty patient, they will defeat two hundred. And if there are a hundred among you, they will defeat a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand.

8.66 - Now, Allah has lightened (hardship) upon you, and He knows that among you is weakness; so if there are a hundred patient among you, they will defeat two hundred. And if there are a thousand, they will defeat two thousands by the permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient.

8.67 - It is not for a prophet to have prisoners of war unless he has triumphed in the land; you want the commodity of this world, while Allah wants the hereafter. And Allah is Mighty, Wise.

8.68 - If not for a decree from Allah that preceded, then you would have been touched for what you had taken by a great torture.

8.69 - So eat what you have acquired (of war booties), lawful and good, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

8.70 - O Prophet! Say to whoever is in your hands from among the prisoners of war: If Allah knows good in your hearts, He will give you better than that which has been taken from you and He will forgive you. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
